. . . a "Master Baiter"?
A good friend of mine fishes a lot, and has bragged about his fish hook technique -- and rather proudly proclaims himself to be a "Master Baiter." What I can't understand is why he then snickers a lot.
Am I missing something here?
If a fisherman develops a great technique for putting worms on fish hooks, would that make him . . . ?
I think he is just laughing because he wants to make you and the rest of his friends jealous that he has this talent. I am myself wondering if my boys also posses this talent as they spend an awful lot of time in the bathroom.
Reply:Sounds like your friend is very environmentally friendly. At least he certainly like to recycle,eh? That joke has been around a LONG time.
But y'know? The old reliables are very much worth recycling. I will now tell you my favorite old joke which my now deceased uncle used to tell over and over again;
Ever heard of the crazy man with a cellophane suit?
Anyone can see he's nuts.
Like I said.....recycling.
Reply:Oooohhhhh, mannnnnnnnnn. Yes. And if a British lord has a son, and the lord's surname is "Bates", then the butler would address the son as Master Bates. It's enough to want to change your name.
Reply:He must be snickering because he's so proud of using an old joke. A really old joke.
Reply:I think you are a master baiter
Reply:No, it makes reader a 'fisher of men.'
There is no bag limit.
Reply:It's either that or a Hooker.
