Pinching the bard down with pliers will suffice in some places..other places it isn't legal to do so. It is legal in those "other places" to file the barb off the hook. It only takes a few seconds with a good mill bastard-file and a pair of vise grips. If that won't work for you,http://gobarbless.com/ may have just what you need.
Reply:Depends on how quick ya' want them, but Cabella's or Bass Pro will have em'. Try lookin' at places like Kmart or Walmart and they should carry them, you'll be savin' on S%26amp;H!

Had ta' edit this because Mr. exert pointed out somethin' I've been doin' for years (mostly all rivers in CA., are barbless) and that is mashin' the barb down!!! Sometimes the old memory bank falls inta' what is known as S.C.R.S., mode (Sometimes I can't remember S _ _ t!) THANKS exert for the assistance in restorin' my YOUTH ; )... A final note "american", you'll be savin' some $$$ by the usin' the "mash method" ;)!!!
