this is an 84 monte carlo with a 73 monte carlo 350 rebuild engine. I have no idea where all the hoses go. please help ! there are some hoses hooked up but they dont seem right !

you need a chiltons manual for a 73 monte carlo and the hoses on the 84 should be basically the same hook-ups from the engine. The library should have this manual.
Reply:Rad hoses..
Water pump to bottom pas side of rad
Water neck on intake to top driver side of rad.
Heater hoses
One from firewall to intake
One from fire wall to top of water pump.
Depeding on the rad you have, you may have a spout on it just under the fill cap for a heater hose.. If so run one of your heater hoses to that spout
PCV valve from valve cover to one of the bigger spouts on carb
Power brake booster vac hose from booster to other big spout on carb
Transmission vac mod valve from trans to fitting on rear pass side of intake behind carb
Vac advance hose from dizzy to small port on carb
Reply:The Chilton manuals are really good, and the Haynes manuals work. Both should be available at your local parts store.
