i need to know if anyone makes a portable (compact) washer


dryer. i cant seem to find one. i have a small apt. and no hook up


for a washer. help me. dirty clothes man.

GE makes an apartment washer/dryer unit that runs on 110 electricity. Also Speed Queen (I think they're manufactured by Whirlpool). Your best bet is to try GE and Hotpoint's website (Hotpoint is GE's low-end) for information and they can refer you to a dealer or a program where you can order over the phone.
Reply:They do make a table top washer, it doesnt hook up to the sink though. I think i saw it in Walterdrake or Carolwright catalog...check their websites!

All of these companiies make what are called Combo Washer-Dryers, they require no venting, and you can get wheels to roll them away. As you said all are available with sink adapters, and operate on 110V. Hope this helps you out. Charley
