Are there any other ways to restrain a large snake, like a python? If so what are they? how do they work? what are the benefits?
Other than snake hooks, how else can you restrain a python?
Not really... even professionals who work with large captive or wild snakes stick to hooks and bags.
Reply:I have seen some using what looked like a golf club shaft, with a modified end to assist in 'handling' the snake.
Reply:For a large snake (anything over 10ft) nothing beats having many people around to go hands on with the snake. Hooks %26amp; tongs can seriously harm a snake, especially if the handler is not experienced in their use.
