D supported by the hooks at B and C. Determine the tension in AB and AC for equilibrium?

The diagram can be found in engineering statics textbook 11th edition as problem 3-33.

D supported by the hooks at B and C. Determine the tension in AB and AC for equilibrium?
For those of us not in your school who don't happen to have that book handy, can you give a brief word image of the setup? Maybe the distance from B to C, the relative location of D's center of gravity, and the weight of D would be a good start. As it is, all we know is that AB tension and AC tension add up to D.
