Does anyone have a portable washing machine that hooks up to your sink?
Don't remember how much they are, but I lived with some people who had one and it worked..takes a bit longer if you have alot and u still need to wash ur blankets at the laundrymat. It's handy say if your gonna be home cleaning and u need to do laundry, u could wheel the washer to ur kitchen sink and hook it up and do a load as ur cleaning. Check your local appliance center for prices
Reply:A friend of mine had one and it worked well. Only problem was he needed to dry them and didn't like air drying a lot of his clothes so we'd have to trudge his wet laundry to the laundromat anyway.

Check out sears.com or homedepot.com for prices. I think they are in the $200 range. Saves you money over time from paying the laundromat prices but you have to consider the drying issue, have to find out if your landlord allows washers (some don't), and consider what to do with it when you move.
Reply:I had a Sears Kenmore portable washer and dryer that lasted 23 years!! We finally had the washer hooked up to the water. Just got new large units 3 years ago.
Reply:My mother in law used to have one when she lived in a small apartment and loved it. I used it for a while but it was too small for our family. Didn't have a problem with it.

Go to Shopzilla website and compare prices.
Reply:I don't know if they work well, but I know you can buy them at wal-mart for a decent price. They even have a payment plan option if you order online. www.wal-mart.com
