As far as I know, there were never any tow hook kits made for (the front) of 2000-2004 Dakotas. However, I did find a thread on a Drawtite hitch assembly that is made specifically for the Dakota and is well received (no pun intended)

try JC whitney or any truck parts dealer or even a tractor supply company fabricate your mounts your self,

Reply:Almost ALL rental truck/trailer companies (i.e. U-HAUL) have these and will even put them on for you.
