Where can i find cheap carbine hooks?

Good Carabiners are not cheap. Luckily you don't need very many of them, and they last a long time.

If you are using them for climbing make sure they are rated for the loads.

REI would probably be your best bet.

If it is just for those junky ones to use like key-rings almost every sporting goods store will have them.

Where can i find cheap carbine hooks?
Are these the stainless fixed eye clips that are used for anchors at the top of top rope routes? Like these that I found on the web?

I've been climbing for 15 years and never heard of them. I don't even see anything with this name listed on the REI web site - which tells me it either they aren't specifically for climbing or that you might be using a different name.

Good Luck
Reply:Like fifi hooks, your going to have to be more clear. Well if its fifi hooks you are looking for then petzl makes cheep ones?
Reply:If you mean cheap carabiners, you can buy a "mallion" from the hardware store for about $2.50.
