Does that stuff you spray on fish hooks and lures really attract fish?

It is supposed to be pharamones or something... it comes in a spray bottle and several kinds - crappie and panfish, bass, walleye... etc. Does this stuff really work?

It doesn't exactly "attract" fish, it causes them to "get excited" about eating. It is mainly used on lures to give you a couple extra seconds to "feel" the strike of the fish.

Lure attractant also "cover's up" your own human scent so the fish won't think your lure is "fishy",(lol). Good choices are "Baitmate", "Berkley Powerbait", "Bang", "Dr. Juice", "YUM".
Reply:no i dont think so becaus i read in a artacile that if you have a red hook that will attract the fish more then the atractor it self so try a red hook
Reply:yep fish have an ellivated sence of smell that makes them attracted to fish hormones. I have never tried it myself but the science is right.
Reply:I don't know, but it works on women from West Virginia.

Just dont make a 'Wrong Turn' down there.
Reply:I'm NOT a user of attractants, but got turned on by a friend to one that's called Pro-Cure and tried it on spinners ~ produced quite well ;). I experimented ie., used it on some spinners and not on others, well the latter fell short...
Reply:yes it does make a difference the one that i use personally but is alil pricey is called unibutter it works great but if you want to try attractants out i would suggest you buy an inexpensive one made by either powerbait or one of the other major manufactures some smaller companies seem not to work aswell but try a few and see what you like.
